Drop rate on Tome Pages

What is it?

im debating on whether or not i should just buy them up, or if i can farm them within a weekend... i can solo most of the orchard, but does it scale with difficulty?

not necessarily, being in the wizard board indicates that he is a wizard who is probably aiming for the skiver and gears any potential discussion in the right direction.

Now to get the tome pages you need to be flagged for litany of the dead, if you're not already do it, very fun quests out there in necro IV.

You can ransack each side 4 times a week (Roughly) and tome page droprates are very low and you can only find specific pages with specific bosses.

Long story short: You're not going to get it in one weekend solo without spending a lot of plat on the stuff you don't get. Getting friends who know the quest and who don't want the pages is a great plan as it speeds it up and increases your chances of getting tome pages.

Give farming a try, if you fail and can't stand waiting for ransack to run off then buy the pages (Which are pretty expensive unless you've been hoarding a lot of plat or good items/crafting ingrediants.)

My experience is about 1 per ten runs per player. I'm pretty lucky though. So 80 or so solos for 8 generic pages. A group of six should drop a page every other run or so.

Just my experiences. With that said I'll have bought 24 of the 40 pages on Varr (I have 10 pages left to aquire.) 1 Skiver, 2 nips, 2 phosphors. Buy em if you have the resources.
