I can not comment on the Abbots Inferno as I have not stepped in there yet with my stone.
Although your statement about beholder spells are correct the anti magic ray is not absorbed.
Furthermore when I stepped out infront of the friendly Red Dragon in VON with my ioun stone on I was quickly incinerated and left as a corpse on the floor.
Yes you have a valuable item however there's no need to embellish its abilities to boost the offers you receive.

Its the Improved Evasion you've had since level 9.

rofl wrong 1st snout debuffs you making you more ceceptable to fire try getting hit byt the snout on the first pass by... look at the debuff you get

second pass by is what kills you if the 1st snout +debuff doesnt kill you off the bat
my monk has a 22 reflex and evasion so i fail the reflex every time and even still you do not save versus the debuff which means the second pass will auto kill anybody save or no save next time your in there seriously get hit byt the first passing breath of fire you will see..

ok mr easymode lol come into one of my raids and you will watch as i survive the snout and ill give you screens of my reflex if need be in mid snout

and on the character screen i havent check while fighting thru the snotu im almost certain the debuff will show up in the bottm for the fire resists should be negative

I have a few of these stones and they "DO" save you from the Dragon's breath. Now Beat it, or would you like to bet me on my non evasion character because I'd be more then happy too, hell I'll form the raid!

Firestorm greaves + GS Fire absorbsion Item + Fire absorbsion tod Ring + decent HP + Fire Procection + Fire Resistance + Cold Shield = VERY MINIMAL fire damage.. heh

Basically, get the right gear you can survive anything. Never Say Never.

im only guessing mirage aka easymode doesnt have one?
basically its like this easy ill bring you into my raid for evon 6 and sit there naked lol with nothing but the stone on no fire shield no nothing and still survive and ill switch to fire stance to lower my saves as low as i can
just to prove it

btw this was a market post gone a whole new direction lol
trying to fund my frd need for my armor to get made here

Now with that being said how is it that a player can be killed by snout if the stone makes you immune to it?
I'm not so worried about making bets on pixels as to showing you the error in your post.
As you can see by my screen shot I do own this stone you are attempting to sell.
I've also stood outside the stone that everyone hides behind to test the stones effectiveness when I first ran EVON 6 and promptly took a dirt nap.
Your original post reads as if by equipping this ioun stone you will be fine infront of Velah and that is not the case.
Regardless how pro or gimp a players build is if the stone made you immune as you so implied it wouldnt matter because you would be immune.
And no the breath wont kill anybody on the second pass as I've witnessed players knocked down and couldnt reach the stone to hide behind who survived.
Bottom line is that you're going to get hammered by Velah regardless if you have the stone or not.
You've already contradicted yourself by saying the stone makes the person immune and follow up by saying the person will die.
And stop taking this so personal like I'm out to get you.
If it was not for your random tells asking me if I'd like to join one of your parties after searching the Who's Online List to fill your raids I never would have even known who you were.
So sit back ... take a deep breath ... remember this is a game ... kick your feet up ... have a drink ... join a raid ... make a sandwich ... dont take it personal ... And ... have some fun.
As for the first line in your original post good luck selling the Ioun Stone as I love mine.
Picked it up when I was level 12 running Elite Irestone Inlet to clean up some low level favor.

The stone makes you Immune to the dragon snout... "Once" that is. So taking everything into account it's not the best item for an ev6 since you can just avoid the snout anyway... but quests like the Abbot, it is pretty nice to have... Will save you from a couple infernos. I don't see a problem with the OP trying to upsell this stone. He didn't make you read it... If you don't want it move along. Mirage I am just thinking you have issues with the OP otherwise you wouldn't be here wasting your time. Remember Trolling is an art, anyone can do it, but few do it well.

and the couter posts are up because it does make you immune and i can prove that it does and so can other people with absolutely no evasion. But none the less this was and still is a market post intended to sell an item.
