There should be a line, however. I was actually doing Crucible for the first time myself the other day, now granted I did put 'guide would be appreciated' in the lfm but still. We had two people join, waited a bit and nobody else was there so we went to four-man it. Since nobody apparently had actually ever done it before, we missed the part about diplo or whatever and kind of fumbled our way through the maze. Grab the horn and all these elementalists appear on top of the walls(or maybe they just started paying attention), one of the two drops immediately from party. Other one stuck the rest of the quest out with us but it was a lot harder than it could have been. Had a good time but AHRRHRG THAT MAZE

Solo the swim and agility horn on my 14 Fighter 2 Barb, excellent idea.

Not often do I see an idea as incredibly amazingly good as that.

This is classic any class can do the swim and anyone can do the trap room also agility or whatever if you watch what your doing they can both be done taking minimal damage.

Aside from the boring stuff that Mr Consumer was basically right and blatantly inexperienced toons putting up experienced only LFM's is a bit naughty. And it did take 30 mins to even start

Ok, well it was elite, I am an experienced player and the LFM didnt say you had to know the quest. I thought doing the agility and swim for the first time and doing both on my own wasnt a complete failure..next time i wont give in until i'm a complete simpleton. Nothing but total incompetence will do

My lunch was ready halfway through endurance horn and there was no way I was missing it for the party. Tuned out to be some greatly disappointing ham sandwiches.

I am just amazed that a supposedly experienced player didn't do the swimming part and the agility test himself.

Class & hp don't matter for the swimming part since you wont hit the spikes.

For the agility test it's a bit more tricky, not to make it to the horn, but to leave the corridor alive once you picked the horn. It might require a raise to be accepted once you tp back in the corridor, re-pick the horn, then jump to shrine.

Long story short, get some twitch skills.

Don't know what quest you're playing but when I ran through it(on a level 17 monk, might I add) I hit more than enough spikes to flay a class that's got low reflex saves. Maybe with a zero lag connection and the skills to beat a portion or two of IWBTG you could do it on just any class, screw the hp.

Many players, including me, loves this quest as it is one of the most well designed imo:
- lots of skill based optionals to make the quest easier
- good story line
- and it used to be very very good xp (+20k)

As such, it was ran over and over and over. Once you know the swimming part by heart, it is more than doable to do it without hitting the spikes once.

I have no issue doing the swimming with a low hp char & bad ref saves, as it doesnt matter at all if you dont get hit.

I can make my lunch and dinner and play at the same time.

But for the life of me I cant make that **** swim no matter what im playing...... well thats what friends and guild mates a for, they can make the swim for you.
