    Default STR/CON Dwarven Fighter

So I decided to reroll my old fighter now that I finally got 1750 for 32pt builds. Decided to do a bit of a self imposed challenge. I went dwarf, put all points into str and con and ignored the other stats. This left me at 18 8 20 8 8 6. A quick vet process and a couple pieces of old loot later he is at 21 8 22 8 8 6, with 126 hp at lvl 4. I am speccing him for greataxes through kensai and the relevant dwarven enhancements.

Now, what I would like to know, is are there any bits of information I should know or specific non-raid(TS is okay) loot I should look for that benefits this build? I don't want any items that will be used solely to get up any of the stats I left alone, but items that do that and other beneficial things are okay. I've got a reaver's ring somewhere I plan to use for the fear immunity but otherwise I am focusing on being a hunk of meat with a greataxe. EDIT: apparently I had greatsword here :/

Of course, if there's a build out there that did the same thing stat-wise that I missed, it would be nice if someone could point that out for me too.

If you want to use greataxes, Carnifex is your best friend. You can't run the last quest in the Delera's chain until you're level 5, and it will probably take more than a few runs to get it, but it's great exp and a fun series so you'll only want to tear half your hair out by the time you get it.

Oh, and I do have higher level chars so I can go semi-grind for items as long as they're not BTC. It's just raids that I don't want to bother with because of the tiny drop rate and timers.

with 8 dex and 8 wis you're going to get smacked around a lot, so anything that ups amp may be nice.

Carnifex rocked till about lvl 14 or so, then i picked up blade of fury and that rocks against anything that can take con damage.

Its a raid, but drops are frequent - you can run chrono with your higher lvl toon and grab a bundle of nice stuff. Frequently there are rolls since there are 5 items to get and people get dupes a lot. charged gauntlets, cloak, bracers and helm are great for a lvl 5. Goggles are nice too for a 3x haste clicky and +2 wis. Boots aren't that hot for a melee, but the 5 item set bonus could probably be worn for a bit. +1 con, +1 str profane and some other benefits.

Already tossed the goggles over, did just realize I'm going to need some healing amp. Any specific recommendations, can I buy potions for this? Looking at wiki, seems like I'm out of luck until level 13. Only thing lower would be a greensteel weapon, but I have no mats and no plan on running shroud right now.

I wouldn't bother planning and farming for the lower levels, you'll be through them in no time.

Off the top of my head:

Focus on stuff like Bloodstone, Minos Legens, Spectral Gloves, Silver Flame Talisman and Tharne's Goggles as you reach the levels where they become available.

Besides that just make sure you are wearing the highest fortification item, false life item and main attribute items.

Goggles of Insight will do until you can get Tharne's Goggles.

Get a holy blunt weapon for skeletons.

Get an everbright weapon for oozes and rust monsters.

Get a cold or elemental bane weapon for fire elementals.

Get a paralyzing, disruption and vorpal weapon as soon as you can.

Get a metalline of pure good weapon for raids.

You will need a ghost touch weapon until you get Spectral Gloves.

You will get good mileage out of Gorgon Armor.

The Shield of Reflecting is quite good.

The Nightforge Gorget will do for heavy fortification until you get a Minos Legens.

The Sacred Helm is a good low level deathblock item until you get your Silver Flame necklace upgraded.

Farm a Visor of the Flesh Render Guards for the Deathward clicky as soon as you can.

Farm a few Planar Girds for a Greater Heroism clicky.

Get an invisibility clicky with at least 3 charges.

Get a set of Greater Resistance cloaks for each element.

This should all do you until you get to Dragon Touched Armor, start farming your Amrath belts/necklaces and crafting Greensteel items.
