No, only works on melee attacks
for the purposes of special effects unarmed attacks are not considered melee

Okay I can see you really want this to work....

Crippling, Smiting, and Destruction all say they add these effect to your melee attacks, but I've tested Crippling and Destruction and they don't work with unarmed attacks. I sent a PM to 404error, a GM that we are told is a good source ask about bugs and he told me that this is intentional. Unarmed attacks do not carry effects that add to melee attacks like...

    Dragontouched Crippling <tested>
    Dragontouched Destruction <tested>
    Dragontouched Smiting
    Ravager Set bonus <tested>
    Tempest Set bonus
Incite <tested> ... fought whisperdoom with another monk of slightly greater DPS whilst wearing incite 10 and 15 percent and using Greater Vulkoors Might set. I could not maintain aggro.

Im pretty sure the Vulkoors Might does apply to handwraps as it does not mention melee attacks and thus likely works with ranged and spell hate gen as well. I have not asked 404error about Incite but with the testing Ive done it hasn't shown my any evidence that suggests it works with unarmed attacks.

    Totally anecdotal...

I tanked elite VoD today with 45% Incite from Dragontouched and had zero aggro issues. Even had another melee in the party wearing 15% Incite to test while I was using Essence of Desire (-5% attack speed) and curing my own curses. I'm fairly confident there's no way I would have maintained aggro if the DT Incite wasn't working on Unarmed attacks.

I use some insite on my monk and only lose agro to epic sos and epic marlith combo and then we just end up bouncing agro back and forth...

I know my monk has some serious dps, with being completionist, useing paldin past life and rog past life clickys

but still there little to almost no delay in when i grab initial agro and have rest party come in and dps while im tanking, and i have to stop and shadow fade, remove curses and im also using ugo con pots and still able to maintain agro while I have seriously geared out dps machines beating on the backsides of the bosses.

So i would say yes it works, curretnly using 15% incite on DT
