Yeah, this happens to me anytime I don't have time to eat breakfast to work, and I decide to eat my lunch at 9am.

Why is it, that if you're heating up an nice big omelet at 3pm, everyone tells you how awesome that looks, and eating breakfast for lunch is so fun.

But if you're heating up a couple left over tacos at 9am, people walk by and cringe, and feed you lines like "OMG, you're eating that for breakfast?"

Who made you the 'Eat Police'? And who invented what is considered 'breakfast food' ? It wasn't me, so I don't live by those guidelines.

On the bright side, I am punched in and getting paid to have to listen to this pile of trash.

I'm sure my habits are being transferred from my early working years, having always been a late 2nd shift, and 3rd shift worker.

Now that I'm on 1st shift, and have been for over 3 years, I guess people think I need to convert to the 'normal eating standard'. I say, shut the hell up! When my mom yelled at my uncle (who still works 3rd shift) when I was 10 years old, for giving me a rootbeer at 8am...guess what? I LIKED IT! And I still do. Eff orange juice.

Try this: get a hard bound book and open it up. When your co-workers come in, start tearing pages out and eating them. When asked what you're doing, say you are soon going to be strong as an ox and you're really angry at the eat police. Then tell them the next book you eat will make you wise like a god. They will proceed to stop talking to you after that. Problem solved.

Sounds like you need to be enlightened by a group of 9-5 sales people, preparing their 'light salad' snack at 11am, before they decide whether or not they want to eat the egg salad sandwich, or save that for tomorrow and go with the turkey wrap.

Speaking as a professional milk man, I can assure you that it has to be the eggs. Milk is awesome stuff, and comes in the cutest containers....



Eggs. *nods* They killed my grandpa. He ate eggs every morning for breakfast for... well, I can account for 40+ years of em. (Gramma was very well trained.) After 70-some-odd years, those evil eggs did him in. I'm sure of it.

A steak with sataed onions, 3 fried eggs on top, with french fries all around it, hugging all that good meat and eggs; oh! and add some really good bread to eat it all up.

I just got back from China, those guys don't believe in defined "this food is for that meal" ideals... It's noodles all day, every day over there.

And I gotta say, a nice bowl of Nanchang spicy noodles at 8am (who am I kidding... 11am) is not a bad way to wake up!

But really, cold pizza is the breakfast of champions!

yeah, being chinese, my dad never really got the "what is breakfast food" thing more than a little, and fed us random microwavables for breakfast along with chinese food. Shar Char Beef n rice for breakfast, win.

I've frequently had lamb tikka & poppadums for breakfast on a sunday morning... though technically is it really breakfast if you're eating at 11am?

Cold pizza or kfc breakfast can be nice too.. gotta be cold outta the fridge though, not room temperature ickyness
