I'm from eastern Europe though so whatever.

To the OP: Some people just don't get it - nothing to get upset about. That probably wasn't a run you wanted to be a part of anyway. Healing a pug VoD with players you never heard of is a recipe for disaster.

Personally, if I were in the leaders shoes, I would have sent you a tell asking if you were cool being on healing duty. If yes, you're in. If no, not the run for you.

It's sort of like the Shroud that I and my ranger friends were all denied from last night. The 5 of us and a few others had a pity party and cried by ourselves... all the way through part 5. I know, I know, rangers are so gimp that tears are the normal state, but somehow we managed to finish! It must have been the monk.

It's vod. Really! Guess what folks we were running void on elite when the most levels of cleric was 16. The op has 18 levels of cleric. He stated he could heal the raid so that says he's not going to melée.

So I strongly disagree with those that say they'd be hesitant of the build. If he's offering to take the roll as healer and has enough levels to handle it how hard is is to keep hitting the mass cure buttons? Shi!t Aussie can solo heal that on her bard on elite. It's only void people.

I'm so tired of seeing people act like these are uber hard raids and only the best of the best will do to complete.

This doesn't mean I wont give them a chance or let em in specially if I know them or know there guild. Also this is on Kyber(while I have never played there) and I have heard many stories about those pugs.

If that conversation you posted is what he said well then he is just an ass anyways and you where better to not be in his party.

So instead of looking at it very personal like you are instead look at it from another point of view and understanding. Most of my time playing DDO has been spent playing a Battlemages so I can understand being rejected from a pug.
Dude it's VoD, it's reletivily easy for most people to solo heal that quest on elite. Considering it was a normal run, i just laugh at the leader for being picky.

Depending on the group--this can even be aura healed (no spell points used, no scrolls).

Whenever someone /tell "**** off n00b" to me I silently thank them. OBVIOUSLY, this is a man of pride and heroism who is telling me in much fewer words, "By God, me and these boys are going to die on unholy ground tonight. If my soul is going to burn in hell for eternity, I don't want your death on my conscience. I'm not about to be held responsible for the death of someone who might actually stand a chance of making some sense out of this twisted mess we've gotten ourselves into. GO NOW! SAVE EBERRON FOR THIS DESTRUCTION!". I'm pretty sure that's what they're saying.

It's not that he thinks you're worthless, just entirely too skilled and intelligent to be lost during some battle for morons and brutes.

people still do VOD NORMAL? really? i don't think i've ever been in a fail hard vod. and as far as your build goes it seems fine to me. 2 levels of fighter = more hit points and extra feats. but seriously a cleric with DOWNS SYNDROME could heal vod normal. so even if the cleric is completely incompitent (which im not saying you are) why would you turn them down for a NORMAL run

**** I know specially on normal, I Tank Vod on Hard with my Intimatank Sorc and the only "healer" we had was a lvl 15 cleric with 2 lvls of monk and we completed np. Just felt like playing it backwards =)

    been in that VoD.
Leader solo healed it (+sorc reconstruct of tank) and we shortmanned it. Earlier he runed Shroud, and i have to say he was good leader, and good player (even tweaked a bit Shroud and saved Fire elly (not kobold or whatever)).
Don't know why he didn't allow you (still it is your part (that is not even ScreenShoot), when he told his part to group, but I didn't paid attention (1AM was kidna sleepy)), maybe because by this time you wanted to join we were at entrance to VoD (we waited rather long before full party, so maybe he didn't want to wait till you finally reach there).

Me: When I RP it helps if I have a few drinks first.

Guildy 2: I only drink when I play my cleric.

Me: Ha ha, yeah I just drink MORE when I play my cleric!

Guildy 1: I'm too young to drink.

Guildy 2: Then don't ever play a cleric.

    just a weird statement,

those two levels of fighter are also two free toughness feats.
