to be more correct, you get an "assorted" list of raid loot and possible +2 and +3 tomes in your 20th reward list.

With only 7 named items dropping in VoD you should be guaranteed to get the one you want on your 20th. I think there are 10 slots on the reward list, though I'm not too sure. A guildie of mine pugged 20 Hounds to get the Levik's Defender and on his 20th he got a selection of 3 tomes and 7 out of the 8 named items that drop there. Guess which named was missing.

Because hound and vision have so few items of raid loot, you get a whole list of their loot if you don't get a +3 tome. (there's 8 items on an end reward list, and both raids have 8 or less items, so you always get them all)

If you get a +3 tome, it could replace your bracers.

Think im gonna go with the bracers, even though i get a +3 tomes as reward option,
cause i really need those to finish my gear plan. And gonna TR anyways, so cant use
the tome for some time.

I do understand. Took till my 40th on my cleric to get the healers shield. Though somehow I managed both items in the first two runs on my intimi... My rogue did get her set upon her 20th though.

OMG me too. only on my 9th or 10th tho and only doing it on hard.
