Took some time off DDO to read this. I was really impressed with Brandon Sanderson - IMO this book was up there with the best in the series (which were 3, 5, 6, 7 and 12, IMO). Aviendha's brief two chapter plotline was probably the most gripping reading in the entire series to date. And unlike books 8-11, this really accomplished things - there were endings and some new beginnings as well as lots of 'middle'.
