I am currently in Kirkuk Iraq... but have just accepted a job with a new company and will be out of Iraq in abouot 2 weeks.. YAY!
And then I go to Afghanistan... joy.
At least it is about a 20k a year raise, with more frequent R&R (14 days paid vacation every 90 days instead of every 120), with better insurance and they reimburse more for travel to and from the states. I am quite happy about the new job... but Afghanistan is a little less safe than Iraq (which is not exactly safe to begin with).
But, as I told the recruiter... As long as I have a good internet connection to play DDO on I am good to go.
(ok, I just said "as long as I have a good internet connection I am good to go", did not want to confuse here with the DDO part)
