10% no-deaths bonus is the cost zergers pay for not waiting 5 minutes before quest entrance.
And then there's the one who calls you a n00b for not finding the quest entrance, when the other five are in five separate places, and one of them is standing over (and completely covering) the flashing icon.

Whenever I join a group that's just doing wilderness slayers, I like to type "share plz" right when I join. Then I quickly type "lol - just kidding" before they have a chance to take me seriously. Usually laughs ensue, and someone in the party will share some random quest (usually Arachnophobia) for further laughs. Actually, I think most people have a random quest ready to share with the classic "share plz" crowd, just to mess with them.

I found a good clip of Jesus soloing the Bargain Bazaar quest in only one minute:

Being a "Newb," I ask my guildies to share the quest all the time. I ask this more out of means of expediting our way into a quest.

When I PUG, would it be better for me to try and find the quest giver that matches the LFM (sometimes the LFM's are vague, or don't give complete info)?

Or, would it be acceptable to say, "I've not done this quest before...can you tell me where the quest giver is, please?" instead of asking the dreaded "share please?" The only thing I can think of is that I am showing you that I, a newb PUGer, am willing to go and seek the quest giver out even if I am ignorant of where the quest giver is.

Perhaps at the point where I demonstrate that I have a command of the language and keyboard, and show that I'm not looking for a free handout, you'll share the quest with me so we can get to rockin'!

I've hit share on raids because that lets me know everyone's status, if they're on timer or have not flagged.

It would be ABSOLUTELY acceptable (and preferable) to ask where the quest giver is, and you will get a MUCH warmer reception in all groups you join. Your final point is dead on, but more likely you will be told where to get it, and then you will know where to go to get your reward at the end too!

a share is acceptable when yuou are all standing @ vod/hound entrances. The share request is usually preluded by a GD or some form of swear

First off, I am a simple dude. I am not an elitist powergamer or a jerk but every time I have allowed those folks who ask for shares to stay in my groups, I have regretted it.

They lose crates in Gwylands, wont go to the barriers with the shards in Stormcleave, cant find a way show up in the quest without dying. They are constantly DCing or ignoring direction.

If the first thing someone says when they join is that they are new to the quest or "what house?", I have no issue with that. It seems that those who are willing to admit their ignorance to something, are more likely to play hard and take direction.

Today I get a guy in group from a guild that has enjoyed a decent reputation as of late. The first thing he did was ask for a share.

I considered booting him but decided to let it go. He never stepped into the quest even after we were underway for 10+ (doing god knows what) so I decided that he wasnt set on contributing to the group and removed him.

After that he sent me mulitple tells calling me an A**hole, telling me he wasnt a noob and that he planned on /ignoring me. Then he apparently reported ME for harassment for telling him "eat me noob".

Maybe it was a bit childish for me to tell him that but I had to say something, he was ****ing me off....

Anyways, if you are a solid player but a bit on the lazy side, please refrain from asking for a share if you join one of my groups. And for the rest of you party leaders out there,...Beware of Share!!!!!!

Thank you. We do try. I just always like to make sure. As we continue to grow it becomes nigh impossible to group with everyone.

If you could PM me the names as well, I'd appreciate it. Not only would I like to avoid them, but I'd also like to make sure they don't end up with us
