Castlevania : Lords of Shadow

I have just completed this game, and now I wish to tell you all about it.

I like you was probably a little uneased about Konami's attempts to "3D" this franchise but let me tell you that fear is washed away within the first boss fight this game does it right each and every time.

For ease of reading im going to separate this game into different areas.

ART

This game is B E A UTIFUL!!
If your an architecture or artworks buff this game will have you crying tears of love! (9/10)

MUSIC

The music is not classic Castlevania fare which is a shame as each soundtrack track on the 2d games is worthy of an Oscar!..Instead you are given a Hollywood inspired film score that is not "ugly" to listen to..it does its job very well..but its not the same as before. (8/10)

The game is also narrated with flawless skill by leading actor Sir Patrick Stewart (X-Men and Star Trek)

GAMEPLAY

Lets get the bad news out the way first..Fixed Camera's...other then that this game plays like a dream with clever twists and turns and more jumping and grabbing then Lara Croft (tm) on steroids.
The Fighting side of the game is truly epic (so epic the word epic does not cut it!!) your main weapon is a "Combat Cross" which works like a whip for all you hardened fans. soon you will build up an impressive list of moves and counter moves to keep the game fresh.

The Boss fight are from another world!!..often through out the game I was screaming "W T F!" at the brilliant visuals and fights. (9/10)

PLOT

The plot has more depth then Avatar the Movie (tm) and shows to be more then "A Belmont goes into the castle to slay Dracula" there are changes that you never see coming. (8/10)

Near the end of this game it stop becoming a "good" Castlevania game and becomes probably the BEST game I've EVER Played. (And I've played a few)

In fact if you own a Play station 3 or X-Box 360 and you only buy one game a year..do your self a favour and buy this game.!

Overall (9/10) Best Game I've Played to Date!!
