i am so glad i stopped playing after seeing what they did in WOW yesterday, they have done a combat upgrade style revamp to the whole game, stuffing up 2 years hard work ingame for some people (not me as i QUIT)

For some reason I can only cheer for this as it does mess up 2 years of hard work for people who play WoW.

Wow, have we at DDO, become so crazy about nerfs that we have begun to complain about nerfs that have happened in completely different game on our home forum. NICE!
For what it is worth, when I logged onto my main I didn't think that it was that bad. My brother in turn loved what they did with pallies. All in all I think it was a necessary change to help combat the power creep that is inherent, in all MMO.there's one thing you never put in a trap if you're smart. If you value your continued existence. If you have any plans on seeing tomorrow then there's one thing you never, ever put in a trap.

A couple of the guys I work with are still die-hard WoW addicts. One was holding judgement til he gets the update installed, the other gave up on the repeated delays they were announcing and started installing LOTRO.
(I'd only been trying to get these guys converted to LOTR or DDO for 2-3 years.) 
1 success is a win in my book.

Cata goes live on December 7th. What went live the other day was one of the pre-release patches. It had some UI improvement and some game balance changes. Originally Posted by Stormanne
