    Default Capping my clonk

    I'm sitting at the XP cap right now, just haven't taken my 20th level. I'll TR this dude eventually, but will grind out another dozen or so of the major raids before I do.

    Currently, 2 Monk, 17 Cleric. Options:

    - Monk 3 for Fists of Light, though in end-game content I'm rarely on the boss and more often heal from a distance.
    - Cleric 18 for some more SP and spell selection for things I'll rarely use.
    - Fighter 1 for some combat feat to help bash portals and other things when I'm not paying attention to a group
    - Some other class like Wizard for a free metamagic and spells for utility.

    I should take the last level, just not sure on what.

    On the TR, you can go Rogue 1/Monk2/Cleric 17; see Valiance's build for details.

    On this one, I'd suggest Cleric 18. If something is going so bad that you desperately need fists of lights mana saving effect, they're going so bad that fist of lights mana saving effect won't save you. The extra cleric level is good for SP, SR, and extra spell slots.

    Yeah, quite familiar with that build - but that's not my desire. I'd rather be a cleric with some other supporting abilities rather than the full gambit.

    I just went through these same concerns about 2 days ago...

    18/2 is the best way to finish that build unless it was designed from the start as a 17 cleric

    I'm just saying that I've heard (Lithic mentioned it) bonus exp for disables makes a big difference for TR's.

    To take the rogue level at the last level, it would be doubtful you would have enough skill points to be effective at disabling traps. Possibly you could do the disable due to the cleric spell search traps, but I seriously doubt the disable part. Again, if the build was planned form the start that way, then rogue class would be the first level, so you would have the bonus skill points to start out with, not the last level.

    To the OP, make the decision based on how you play this toon now. If you are mostly playing the healer role then take the cleric level for the spells and spell points. If you are more melee, then take that last level of monk or perhaps fighter for another feat.
