    Default Minos Legens

    Hi all

I am hunting the fable ''Minos Legens'' but am not wanting to purchase yet another adventure pack, what I would like to know is whether Balkar Aislin would be available to me if I had a 90min pass to the Necropolis?

    Thanks all.

i think you need a necro IV guestpass and it should work. but thats just a guess

Keeper Refugee - Exclusively playing Warforged
Nursing IsFutile (FvS) - Unorthodox Behaviour (Kensai) - Bigbofo (Warchanter) - Nukelear Blast (Sorc) - Jurugu Fleshbane (currently TRing) - Reviving IsCheaper (Radiant Blaster)

Correct. Necro IV Guest Pass will allow you to turn in the 20 Tapestries necessary to obtain a Minos Legens Helm.

Thanks for the clarifying which pass I will require, now all I need is to keep a beady eye on the DDO store and wait for a Necro IV Guest Pass to show its head.

    Game on.

I have not done it myself, but I've heard many times in game from people who brag about getting Minos Helm with nothing more than a Guest pass to Necro IV and a bunch of Tapistries from the AH.

Should work, as the npc is in there and shouldn't care if you have the pack or not.

Only people with the said pack can buy and grant a guest pass unto another user... You need to find someone willing to buy and use a guest pass on you

We tried to get some guildies in there with some taps and passes, and it worked for the most part. At the time the guest pass also had a minimum level attached to it, and I think it was 12 or 13. Not sure if this is still the case, but just be warned (I think it says it in the description)...

If I remember correctely the ml of the pass is 11 and yes you can get the helm with a guest pass, I have one put on, check GrtBlandness.

For the turn in, remember to put the taps "in" the bag that the NPC gives you cause he will not take them any other way.

One of my guildies used to be a squishy rogue who couldn't figure out why she kept getting squished in Gianthold.

Bought her a guest pass and 20 tapestries and got her a ML helm.

Thought I was doing her a favor - she thought it was ugly - lol.

Thank goodness for the /showhelmet off command or she'd probably still be getting squished - hehe.

Without trying to sound like an @$$-hat, it's easier for you to buy the necropolis expansion pack, farm the needed tapestries and turn them in yourself....It's been the done thing since the damned mod was released anyway. It will also turn into a handy cash-cow operation for you...It will also get you a fairly handy amount of experience... The run to farm tapestries is fairly straightforward, and it will be a good learning curve for you as a new player to the game.

The necropolis (aka: The region I hate the most!!) is also scene of the Abbot raid and a fairly interesting set of quests. The chain provides a series of items that are quite decent, if somewhat hard to farm. Some players regard items like the Minos Legens and the necklace that can be gained from completing the necropolis chain of quests (I can't remember the exact name of it, but it's nifty for facing beholders!!) to be required equipment.

So, to sum up: I'd just purchase the necropolis pack, and go have a bunch of fun doing all sorts of undead hunting and vampire slaying!!
