Vanishing spell

Ok, well for the past few days I have been playing my wizard and running a bunch of quests, but then I started to die and get parties annoyed due to the fact that i always ran out of SP and didnt do anything, which is far from the truth I did cast spells and I wasnt trying to run out of SP (I'm very SP conservitive) The thing was my spells vanished! or did not simply appear I simply wrote it off as lag or a mis-shot and blink and didnt see it but today I ran proof in the poison for favor and maximized it to kill of a huge mob of guys I rounded up and clicked 4 times and it didn't fire I saw my SP drain saw my guy do the gesture, but no spell needless to say I died very ticked off. I'm just curious has any exp this bug? or is it just simply some form of lag?

Are you wearing armor? or a shield?

Are you wearing armor or have a shield or are Warforged?

It might be Arcane Spell Failure. Stuff like what I mentioned above increases the chance for Spell Failure.

no armor no i am not WF(drow) nothing to stop it(no arcane failure in other words) i wear robes and it happens to FW and acid blast and like 2times to web where it should appear it doesnt or itll appear like 8seconds later very frustrating

Are you being damaged during the casting?

Then if you fail your concentration check, your casting is interrupted, and the spell doesn't go off.

If you are getting hit while you are casting it is probably failing your concentration check as suggested

Two options

A: You're fighting the monster everyone fights, and can never beat. The lag monster.


B: Your concentration is low. If you're in the middle of a mob, and they're beating on you, odds are, you won't be able to cast.

Like he said, maybe it's loss of concentration?

Watch your for your die, if it pops up, it's doing a check of some sort.

Appearing late is a different story, it could be lag.

well concentration(its as high as it can be tho) still a possiblity but this happens in places in like tempest( alot actually) where I am far back not getting hit and that FW that could save the party doesnt appear and like 2/3 party is dead
