15Wiz/2Rog human and I need to decide between enlarge, heighten, and greater spell penetration (I'm assuming to keep quicken, max, and extend although I havn't used quicken all that much-maybe trade one of these with Fred?) for my last feat. I do quite a bit of soloing but I also will be starting the shroud among other high end raids. As this is my first caster I have no experience with any of these. Which is the best and worst? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

spell pen wont help you if the mobs makes it save and enlarge is one of the more useless feats imo

Spell pen check is first. Actually if the mob resists your spell, it won't matter how high of DC your spell is, the spell will fail. However, I agree with Visty that heighten is usually more imortant.

What do you have for feats right now? With your lowered caster lvl, I'd try to fit in both heighten and greater spell pen.

Especially on a human, you should have no problem at all for feats. If you have any of those useless rogue-looking feats (Nimble Fingers, Skill Focus) dump them.

In no particular order, I think your feats should be at the bear minimum.
Toughness, Empower, Maximize, Extend, Heighten, Quicken, Spell Pen, Greater Spell Pen, Insightful Reflexes, Spell Focus: Necro/Enchantment, Greater Spell Focus: Necro/Enchantment, and then either of the following: Mental Toughess, Skill Focus: UMD. Depending on your gear, you can swap out Mental Toughness/SF:UMD for Spell Focus in whatever school you didn't pick.
