    Default Sorting in Bags

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it would be nice if we could somehow sort items within bags. Especially considering the amount of different item types that go into the ingredient bags...

It makes it difficult to look through 160 item spaces (per characters ingredients bags)to see if you have the appropriate seal/shard/scroll/whatever. I waste alot of game time sorting through all my characters bags. It would be nice if similar objects were grouped based upon type (similar to how the collectables bags are divided).

Could we maybe get at least an "arrow up" function similar to quivers?

    /signed.

I like the idea of sorting available in bags. Probably not one of their priorities however.
In case you didn't already notice, my posts that end with must NEVER EVER, under any circumstances, be taken seriously.

The mechanics are already there. In inventory bags, everything is currently just grouped as "other". If they just added a few more groups it would help immensely.

Gave this a little more thought. Even an auto alphabetical type sorting would help. This would place shards, seals, scrolls, shavarath stones, larges, etc. all grouped together.
Doesn't seem like this would require a tremendous effort in terms of code writing.

I thought I was the only one who sorted their bags
I usually do this manually by dumping the bags out and placing the items into the bag one at a time in the order I want.

I have 4 ingred bags on my character I play a lot.

Large bag for vale and shroud ingreds.
Large bag for medium shroud ingreds.
Medium bag for large shroud ingreds.
Large bag for epic seals/scrolls, DT runes, IQ stuff and any miscellaneous items that go into ingred bags.

I also have 4 collectable bags that are sorted according to what house they are collected in. Honestly now I'm a little embarrassed about it now that I typed it out. Seems rather OCD.

+1 to sorting in green bags, be it like quivers or red bags.

I've not yet managed to acquire any large bags, but I found it helpful to put all the Harbor collectibles in the small bag, and all the other ones in the medium bag.

Ingredients is the same - put all the blank ingredients in the small one, and all the small/medium/large ones in the medium one.

Never buy a bigger gem bag. Waste of money.

honestly we need a manual sort in every bag like object - reincarnation cache, gem bags, ingredient bags, collectible bags.

I'd be fine if they sorted different ingredients like they sort collectibles. Vale together. Trap together. Epic together

I started one for this a while ago because we need this really bad now. When we only had the shroud it was ok, but now we have Epic, Shroud, Mindsunder, and Dragonshard Fragments just to name a couple of the top of my head. We need to have the organization and have them divided like they have the ingredient bags.
