I agree: Fix manyshot - for real! A 20th level Arcane Archer should not have the same cool-down as a level four tempest!
Perhaps give us an enhancement line to reduce the cool-down, or to make manyshot last longer than twenty seconds, or some combination of the two.
Yes, I'm aware that the OP's complaint was about the current bug, but hey...WITH the bug, manyshot is closer to what it should be than when it's WAI!!!

I am hoping they leave it as is for as long as possible. Ranged combat has never been even remotely viable until now. Even still the only rangers toping the charts right now with this bug are arcane archers with slaying arrows, regular rangers should just be even with twin khopesh meele.
Yes I see it should be fixed someday, but hopefully not without a complete ranged overhaul that finally makes ranged viable without the use of bugs.

lol, put a level on mine while playing him for the first time in a long time, and didn't even know about this upgrade, er, I mean bug.
I did notice that when I accidentally double clicked my sprint boost, it ticked off twice, and would let me click again although it was still active and on timer.

Yep this needs to be fixed, but turbine really should looking into changing the cool down/duration for many shot at least for AA's. Maybe make it an enhancement that only AA's can get?
For a long time Rangers have had the short end of the stick when it comes to combat unless they went the line of tempest enhancements. Now a "bug" or "exploit" comes along and actually BENEFITS rangers of the ranged line and people are complaining??![]()

Absolutely NO, it doesn't need fixing because it isn't broken. Yes i know it isn't WAI but this is how it should be IMO.
Even with this it is all my AA can do to keep my DPS near melees, I get 20 seconds of being a god and then I get to go back to being a gimp until it recharges, if anything Manyshot needs a shorter cooldown, longer duration, or both... It is only really OP early on.

You really don't think that the ability to create endless, returning arrows, an entire enhancement line that uses one helluva lot more action points than Tempest and the experience necessary to level to 20 doesn't merit a decrease in the cool-down?
As a Tempest levels, s/he gets more attacks and attacks faster - and not just in 20 second spurts! I think that there *is* justification for a reduction in cool-down/increase in length of manyshot, if only to keep Arcane Archers viable.
If there isn't a change, I've already decided to lesser reincarnate my AA back into a Tempest, which is kinda sad as I originally rolled her to be a ranged character.....
