Default For newbie: Dont do splashes with arcane/divine caster with arcane/divine

If u wana do caster its best u stay pure, ive seen a lot caster who multiclass arcane-arcane.

    Especially
    wizard splash sorcerer
    or
    cleric splash FVS

no matter how u weigh it, its not gona be better than staying pure
exceptional would be like wiz/rog, divine/monk, the best i think can think of but dont do other kind of splashes its gona ruin ur end game capability, plus it doesnt do any benefits

I'll make it even simpler: New players should not multi-class. Ever. If you think it might be a good idea to take a level of [insert class here] on your character, you are wrong. Do not do it.

    Splashing works great.
You just haven't seen my Mage/Barbarian/Cleric with 18 Charisma yet.

A raging radiant servant pale master? I have wondered if you are undead and use healing aura if you kill yourself

Generally good advice, except for one exception - feel free to multiclass if following a forum build that is marked as beginner friendly, and that has reasonably positive comments in its thread.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

If it is planned ahead of time, then it is likely fine. My point was mainly aimed at players that are trying to decide if they should multi-class their existing character into something else, and that is nearly always a bad idea, since they didn't plan anything ahead of time. Fortunately, LR can fix the worst of those mistakes these days, but that Cleric/Rogue 5/5 is still going to be expensive to correct one day.

A useful generalization of the rule to not mix arcane and divine casters is to state it this way:
Never take a level of a spellcaster class unless the majority of your levels will be in that class. (Pal/Ran doesn't count as "spellcaster" here)

Been there, done that. You can't, it shows up as immune
