Okay... I totally want a lightsaber too, but- Since when do Jedi's throw "hadukken" style fireballs? ...And since when do Jedi's block lightsabers with their bare hands? What's the point of having a lightsaber if someone block it with their hand??

And why is the spelling-autocorrect system telling me that lightsaber is not a word? Star Wars came out what... 30+ years ago? Put it in the dictionary for cryin' out loud.

You mean the stuff you saw while it was still early and dynamic lighting hadn't been fully implemented yet?

The game definitely has a stylized look instead of a realism one, but if you can move past that (they did it so that lower end machines could run the game), the game itself looks incredible.

I definitely am going to be grabbing that game when it comes out - but it also makes me think the move to F2P was a very wise one for DDO - I'd cancel, or likely not even tried DDO if it wasn't F2P, but now that I have played DDO and am having fun with it, Its nice to know I have an MMO I can go to if I suffer from TOR burnout, and know that all my stuff will still be here.

VERY smart move Turbine, especially with this awesome MMO you guys got...

No, I mean purely the gameplay. I know that graphics can improve - but the game mechanics were firmly in place, and looked boring as hell.

Frankly, when I see a game trailer that is obviously NOT in-game footage, it totally turns me off. If I wanted a movie, I'd go see a movie (though this was a pretty entertaining clip I will admit). But the ability to make an animated trailer is not the same as the ability to make a great MMO, and it almost makes me feel like the game is being hidden.

Just a pet peave of mine...show me the game! Grrrr....

They were originally going to add lightsabers for monks in-game but after the DEV'S spent a weekend playing some of the Ninja Gaiden games, they decided it would be better if they gave monks longsword feats instead. And the raid boss for demon sands was originally going to be General Grevious but due to copyright issues the Demon Queen was put in his place. Oh, and to make up for her loss of DPS compared to General Grevious, the devs gave her 6 arms instead of 4.

That's why lightsabers are not in-game.

Awesome that they actually pay attention to real life martial arts when creating this. Many of the moves used by the female jedi are from a chinese wushu staff form I learned a while ago.

Mem is right I still am looking foward to it just not like I was.

The gameplay footage I have seen seems a lil lackluster but will hold off full opinion till get a real good look at it.

So far thought the gameplay footage has been very underwhelming.
