Teenage sailor Abby Sunderland has been found.
The Qantas Airbus A330 leading the search for stricken solo sailer Abby Sunderland is zeroing in on her last known whereabouts in the Indian Ocean.
Earlier today, Mr Sunderland said the fate of his daughter, whose emergency beacons were activated in treacherous seas more than 3000 kilometres off the Australian coast, was "in God's hands".

on my way into work NPR was telling this story. Crazy that the waves were so rough that it broke the mast of the boat. Her brother, at age 17, completed an around the world solo sail couple years ago.

I hope she tries again or just repairs her vessel and keeps going. This is not child abuse this is allowing a child to grow up and have control over a dream to make her own. To many times we shelter a child with our own fears and instead of tempting the challenging or the impossible, our children grow up to be scared of the unknown and never realize the fullness of a life left unlived.
