You could wait until 14 and be fine. Have you run desert or orchard yet?

When there used to be a bonus for doing a quest over your level people used to routinely go there at L8-10, so you would be fine there.

Sorry up front for the Hijack... DDO and I were on timeout when this happened. Was there ever a reason given for the change? It would seem to me to make more sense now with TR than it ever did.

I usually do not make it out to GH until level 14, but you can go out there as early as 10 if you are wiling to carry cure wands and heal scrolls.

Same, no earlier than 14 for me.
