I have 1 Pure Shavarath Iron, 1 Devil's Keepsake, and 1 Demon's Blood that I want to trade for large devil scales. Will trade all 3 for 5 scales. Just missing Mysterious Artifact for the boots. Thanks!

This is specific to Ghallanda, which you are not on if you think blood is worth less than a scale. Blood on Ghallanda is 10-12 million. And Keepsake is 5-7 million. I know, because I have the iron and artifact and those are the two least expensive items. I have been scoping out the AH for blood and keepsake. And large devil scales are 5 million. I know because I farm them in the Shroud and put them up on the AH. So OP, if you want the devil scales and don't care about the boots, sell your blood and keepsake on the AH and you will get enough for 3 devil scales. I am not sure that the other two are anywhere near enough to warrant an additional scale. I think iron is like 200,000 and the artifact is even less (though I admit I do not know off hand because I haven't been looking at those prices recently). Save yourself the bargaining here though and go through AH. I don't think you will get four for what you have. I only have one right now, but if I had three, I would offer you those for the blood and artifact because that would be fair.

In economic terms, the real price would LESS than what the remaining items are priced at on the AH. So If you see Bloods marked at 10k-12k, all the ones that sold for less are already gone since they were priced at under/equal the right value (demand), and those that remain are priced over that value and won't sell (until a decline in supply happens).

OP, a month ago it was going for 7 million and I am kicking myself for not buying it then because I have been running Bastion of Power for the past month and have yet to pull one blood. Even the people trying to undercut everyone else on blood are going no lower than 9 million. I check the AH several times a day for dragon scales and the other two boot components. I do see steals on occasion for dragon scales but rarely on boot ingredients, and never as low as 450k. Since Comfty here has 3, he probably hasn't been looking for it on the AH recently. So if Comfty bought his at that price, he got very lucky. VERY!

And Darth, I know all about supply and demand as I too have a college education and a good bit of life experience. Did you have something meaningful to add? This thread is actually about someone wanting to trade ingredients for a devil scale and I was just simply stating that one devil scale for one demon blood is not a fair trade. Do you care to weigh in on THAT conversation?

I was adding my opinion on THIS bit, which is false. No, I don't have anything more to add because I don't have SPECIFIC data on the prices on that server since I play exclusively on Argo. I wanted to add a GENERAL comment about pricing in general. I'm glad you have a college degree and all, but I will assume that not all gamers do, so all I wanted was to rectify to be sure no one took your above affirmation as truth.

I'm sorry if you assumed I was personally attacking you in my previous post, because I was not. I'm just a teacher that has the habit or correcting people, even when I'm off duty.

Good luck! You could always try sweetening the deal by buying the mysterious artifact off the AH (which sells for extremely cheap) and then just offering the full set of boot materials available for trade. I dunno.
