Default What equipment should I have at lvl 4

    Hello

I am playing a dwarf fighter lvl 4, using the guide of Vanguard Warrior in the New players forum: http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p...1&postcount=17

My main weapon is a 2h axe, with fire looking, that I got in one of the first missions I did in the Island where you start the game. I have not find any other axe who was better, and the ones I saw in the auction house are TOOOO expensive for me.

I want to know if there are any recommended missions for getting some useful fighter's equipment or any recommendations for improve my yield as a fighter.

    Thank you very much

By level 4, it really depends on what you have access to or what you can afford on the AH. Level 4 (or level 2 or 3 if it is race required) is where you can get a weapon that deals elemental damage AND good damage. Consider looking for armor with the highest bonus that you can use.

If you're still running on Korthos, you may want to consider leaving the island. (I know some vets may give me Hell for telling a new player that there is more to the game than noob island )
Keep running WW, Info is Key, and Kobold's New Ringleader for XP. The standard way to run Info and Ringleader is usually 3 Normal runs, 2-3 Hard runs, and 2-3 Elite runs to gain the most XP out of them.
*KHYBER* Yazool, Durrgin (Dwarf, Clr), Xarissa (Drow, Wiz), Reinei (Hafling, Monk), Cavatina (Human, FvS), Jinglethis Punk'Ass (Halfling, Bard/Fighter), Rahtchet (WF, Art)

Gear is not really a huge issue at level 4, IMO. Just run lots of quests, try to get the best armor you can wear (as a THF your AC might not be great, if you find yourself gitting hit all the time, look for armor with the Invulnerability suffix, very useful at lower levels), weapons with extra damage (Holy, Flaming, Pure Good, etc), and +str and +con items.

If you are P2P: run the Sharn syndicate quests in the marketplace. The end reward weapons from the final quests are very nice for a character just starting out. As a THF you probably want the greatsword. Once you hit level 5 you can run Delera's Tomb. Great xp, and the end reward sometimes has Carnifex, the best low-level axe in the game.

F2P: Focus on getting up to 5 or 6, then run quests with lots of chests such as Tear of Dhakaan, Gwylan's Stand, Stormcleave, Redwillow's, etc. These quest also give great XP, and are worth running multiple times.

You should have at least +3 Full Plate (Adamantine is even better)

Also any + items for Con, Str, Wis, Resistance and Protection items as well.

As for weapons staples should be Fire, Ice, Ghost Touched, Metaline nice to have would be Seeker or keen and if you can get them pure good all the better.

Striding boots and ring of feathers are nice as well but at level 5 there are all kinds of fetaher falling items you can get.

Make sure to check the vendors in the market place for items and the armor vendor in house k and weapons vendor in house d before hitting the auction house you could get lucky and find what you are looking for a fraction of the cost.
    And what of the bird?

Alts: Loknaar, Loknnar, Loqnar, Grafenberg Spot, Ddevkiller, Taarnah, Uhluhtc

if you have paid dungeons you should be looking for a holy/puregood/flametouched weapon of any kind for deleras tomb. if you're free you should consider getting the sharn syndicate questline package for the nicked greatsword, an excellent +2 elemental weapon that you get as a quest reward from that line.

I'm not. By level 4 you should be halfway done with the Harbor. That's detication to get level 4 in Korthos. Jsut don't tell them to go to the harbor at level 1 or 2.
