So after a long grind and had to make a new shroud item to fit in my new monk ring. I get to find out that henshin mystic I doesn't stack with red dragon robe. Way to waste my 9 Trophy of war and my ingredients

Consideirng one is flaming and the other flaming burst there's no reason it shouldn't

I thought they explicitly stated that for the purpose of monk rings, holy/flaming etc DID stack with burst effects, just only as flaming/flaming burst, not flaming/flaming

It's only a 1d6 of extra fire damage. Many things are fire resistant anyway so it's no big deal.

I don't see why they would not stack since once is flaming burst..and the other is just...a ring a effect...two very different effects.

Yeah I was thinking they were both just 1d6, but then I reread the eternal fire description and it is a burst effect. That is odd.

1d6 Fire/+1 Ki Oremi Set

You already send me tells about exploding with ki after swapping to Elegant Crane, so the Ki on Oremi isn't an issue for trash. Difference becomes 1d6 vs 2 constant, not quite THAT much. Especially when the +2 will become 4 on x2 crits, and 6/8 on x3 and x4 moves. On trash, Shintao's does equal if not more damage than Oremi. With elegant crane and stunning, Ki becomes a non-issue.

Most things that you can't stun (raid bosses etc.) will be immune to the fire from Oremi's anyway


That being said, they should still stack, no reason for them not to....

Hey maybe later you can swap to an Epic White Dragon Robe instead.

For the record, what happens if you use Flaming/FlamingBurst Handwraps and Kama with that ring or robe? Stack or not?

Swapping to monk to try it now... (though I don't have the henshin ring on monk so can't test the ring set)

Edit: Flaming Wraps + Epic Robe works together.

Well I wanted to have other set to hot swap for named and use the henshin mystic as my epic,non devil monsters.
I wasn't gonna wear it for the extra I was just gonna use for the extra fire damage, i guess i should just look for another ring now

I would suppose if there is white robe it would be icy burst. I already have all of my handwraps with icy burst..... LOL

And yes robe stacs with handwraps. I will have to see if I have a flaming burst ring somewhere and just check if it works with it.
