Default Skill Question - Bluff, Diplomacy, and NPCs

    Hello,

I have a couple of questions here:

    1) Bluff

The description says that it is useful for "certain NPCs." I know of the one in Delera's tomb which takes about 3 ranks, but are there any others? I've not heard of any, and I'd like to know if this is a common feature I've just missed.

    2) Diplomacy

I've heard through the grapevine that you can get better end rewards by using this on an NPC before talking to them to turn in the quest. Is this accurate? If not, is there any use for diplomacy outside of reducing aggro in combat?

    Thanks in advance.

This is false. Diplomacy only helps you shed aggro and a NPC in gianthold that diplomacy skill us used for conversation but diplo does not help your chest loot or get you better loot from NPCs.

    Another thing about chest loot...

The loot gem only works for you. Even if someone else opens the chest, you and only you will benefit from the effects of the loot gem. No one else will have better loot just because you open a chest with the loot gem effect. Someone else can open the chest and you will still recieve the benefit of the loot gem. You do not have to open the chest to get the benefit. Just trying to be very clear.

Bless, prayer, bluff and any other spell or charm does not help you get better loot from chests or NPCs.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.
