hello yesterday i asked on the forum what is the easiest way to earn money. and i got the respons that i should do desert to get bloodstone that i get 8 milion gp. the problem is that me and my cousin went to desert and did rares. but we never got bloodstone. i am wondering is it we that did wrong beacuse we were in desert for 5 hours and no bloodstone. is it a special way to get it? i mean is it that you need to use diplomatik before opening?

The bloodstone only has a chance to drop in 2 chests - The Thirsty One and the named mephit. Run those 2 chests, if they are not there recall, break group, reform, and rerun.

Tell him to run something over and over and over and over again with a VERY slight chance of ONE rare item?

God, don't give bad advice.. thats like telling someone who asks how to make cash in real life, to 'go win the lottery'

Dude, Ive had the sands pack for over 6 months, Ive ransacked both those chests every week, on 3 toons, since I bought the pack without fail, and I have NEVER pulled a bloodstone.

My advice is simple. to make cash do NOT spend cash. From levels 1 though 10 most of the stuff u will use u can pull from quests, and u do NOT need 'primo' gear to make do. Just run quests, keep and use the stuff that is an upgrade to what you have, sell the rest to NPC's unless its very nice(Example +5 mith plate or similar) and plop the nice stuff on the AH.

Ive run toons from 1-10 with no starting gear, never once had issues buying pots and such, and always 'kept' 50% at least of what each quest gave. This is not counting stuff ive thrown on a mule to later sell on AH.

Basically to make money, don't feel u need to upgrade to 'the best' gear as soon as you can use it. Make do with what you have, and by 10ish u will have 200ish K Plat.

And in case I am wrong...get to level 16 and spam Inspired Quarter...you will pull nice things and expensive things in bulk and will be able to vendor/AH them and amass Plat pretty quickly and consistantly.

Think about it: Every item that is rare and very expensive must be difficult or time-consuming to farm. Otherwise it would not be so expensive. You could get lucky fast, but chance is against you.

The secret is to use bluff and intimidate with two different toons at once until you hear the gong.
