Ban not lifting

I was recently 3 day banned for "hate speech" (saying one word, which strictly speaking applies to myself, which is apparently a bad word). Fine. Annoyed as I am, those are the rules and I can live with being banned without any prior warning for 3 days, even if my "hate speech" was inadvertent.

However my ban is now over (ending 4:26:22 PM US EST, it's 4:46 PM US EST at the time of this post). But I still can't log in, the turbine account page says "banned until" with nothing listed underneath it or "banned until 4:26:22 PM US EST" (this seems to change from no listing to the correct listing sporadically), the launcher says I'm banned every time I try to log in.

Anything I can do to fix this? Because regardless of what I've done, I've not served my ban and am at least paying monthly to play this game. I'm not saying VIP should make me above the rules, but I do think that it's turbine's responsibility to do exactly as they say they're going to do; including making my ban the length that was initially stated.

Calling turbine is not an option, I'm in the UK and I'm not paying a fortune for international calls.

I also realise I'm logged in on another account to post this, if this is ban evading then I apologise, but my ban IS actually over.

(PS my "hate speech" was not religious, racial, or anything explicitly listed in the terms of service and has become a common usage word for a stupid person)
