Ok, so I want to start the game properly with a 32 point character, I want to give Turbine my money, but they will not have it!
I live in South Africa (yes, it is listed on the Turbine account page when entering my credit card). No matter what I do, no matter how many credit cards I try, they are all declined when wanting to purchase points using the browser.
Each of the cards work, since I tested each one of them by buying something else from another online vendor.
So I try Paypal, nope, sorry, also declined.
So I read here that I can email the accounts department and request points and they will manual purchase it using the card on my account, only to read here that there is a 3 day backlog on these.
Now that means, that the 32 point character I wanted to make and play for this weekend will only happen next week. So that is about a 5 day wait.
All this leaves me fuming, beating my hand on my desk, totally disgusted that no matter what I try, I cannot spend my money with Turbine and enjoy playing this weekend.
Don't you think it is time that Turbine did something about this? Are all non USA citizens having such a hard time?
You would think that ensuring that the processes are in place to take people's money, no matter where they are from.
