    Default Does arcane archer have a race requirement?

    ddowiki says you have to be an elf. I was just wondering...

    i thought that it was elf, or ranger prestige enhancement(any race). wouldn't be the first time i was wrong though.

    As a ranger any race can be Arcane Archer (ranger) at level 6.

    As an Elf any class can be Arcane Archer (elven) at level 9.


    Both of these have feat requirements and in some cases you need an enhancement. If you are pure ranger then you will need to take the Mental toughness feat. If you have at least one level of an arcane class then you can take the SP enhancement as a substitute for the feat.
