how do you bypass Demon DR?

Can anyone tell me what type of weapon bypasses demon DR? No matter what weapon i try on them I end up seeing yellow damage numbers instead of orange. I am speaking of flesh renders, reavers types of demons - like the ones in Invaders and Delirium. Thanks for any advise you can give me.

I have tried Good & Cold iron weapons seperately and i still see yellow damage numbers. Does it have to be cold iron and good or holy on the same weapon?

Some also have inherent DR that cant be bypassed. But if you are hitting a Render with a Cold Iron + Good/Holy weapon and still seeing Yellow numbers that is probably it.

I have never tried a cold iron + good or holy yet. I have been looking for one on the AH but no luck yet. Maybe that will do it.

Yes, good AND cold iron, not OR.

Cold iron can be substituted with metalline.
Good means: pure good, holy, holy burst, or flametouched.


Metalline puregood will cover most demons and devils quite well.

You need one of the following:

Holy Cold Iron <insert weapon type> of < insert suffix>
<insert prefix> Cold Iron <insert weapon type> of Pure Good
Metalline <insert weapon type> of Pure Good
Metalline Flametouched Iron <insert weapon type> of <insert suffix>

There is a series of weapons found in Invaders that will do the job. (Tyrrza's Bane etc)
