WTS +1 Vorpal Kama of Backstabbing w/icyburst and Frost

Icy Burst is useless on that kama for two reasons.

1) It's already vorpal, so you're rolling for a 20 anyway, which means Frost is sufficient.
2) The second cold effect is an exploit, and will be removed when they fix all these issues.

No one who pays any attention to the forums at all will pay very much for that weapon besides what it's worth as a vorpal.

You are absolutly correct, what was I thinking. I mean, you NEVER run into mobs with deathward on, and everyone gets a 20 on the first hit so obviously that extra 2d6 (1d6 after they 'fix' it) is totally useless. Thank you verymuch for your informed insight as 40k gold is FAR too much to ask as a starting bid on this item.

When someone points out that you wasted an Icy Burst Kit on a weapon do you always get angry?

Also you say "monsters with Deathward..." Well you generally know those monsters...and you should not be using a Vorpal on a DW monster...as a MNK you *should* be punching things.

As a forum poster you OBVIOUSLY read that Turbine stated that weapons with double recipes on them was not the intent.

Turbine even stated that it will be fixed. You should have added that to your sell statement. To me, it seems you are trying to unload a weapon that Turbine is going to "fix", sort of a caveat emptor move.

Yet, 40K gold for a vorpal kama is not a bad price. But I, as a careful, shopper will not be purchasing said weapon because of the unknown of what Turbine's actions will be.

Even you do not want the weapon because of the unknown actions that Turbine will be taking.

It was sarcasism, and after seeing at least 80 million reasons to smile come my way it is hard to get angry with what anyone says. . . . though my inventory is a bit crowded atm.

Some people do, I wont argue with that. Sometimes you have a mix of undead and living, sometimes constructs and living where a vorpal is handy but not always practical. The added damage from the icy burst and the frost allows you to DPS down the mobs that cant be vorpaled without needing to swap.

They are just removing the lower tiers of the cold effects from weapons with more then one effect on them. . . . . I wouldnt hold your breath though, this could take awhile :P

I never said 40k wasn't a fair price for the vorpal, I said not to expect a ton because of the icy burst/frost.

If every item that went on AH got posted here, this forum would be useless. You can't buy the item from this forum if it's on AH. How would you know you were buying *his* item? You can search forever, and maybe get lucky and find the item, but how do we even know it's still there? He can't sell it to you outright because it's listed.
This forum is for items *not* on AH.
