alot of grinds so its not just shroud anymore

Welcome back man!! lots has changed in the last year or so. I'm in India till the end of the month, but will have a nice welcome back package for you when I get back in the states. I'll get ya flagged up for TOD and we'll do some runs.

Gonna work on getting Whipping to lvl 20 in the next week or 2 so I can do some of the epic runs.

noob optionals are worth alot now take advantage also lvl 17 is sufficient for tod raids just get some boots

use your gabbilions of plat to buy you boots on every character
we do optionals so its an extra 5 k

That is the question... Been away for quite a while, popped in the other day looking for someone I was going to help out that just started playing and was going to hook them up with some junk.. The whole friggin world has changed, lol. Walked into my old stomping grounds House D and thought I took a wrong turn. The game looks better than ever that's for sure..Couple of questions..

Is the lagbeast still everpresent?

The lag was much improved for a while, but they've re-enabled Arraetrikos' AI, and that seems to have made it worse than it had been, before its having been re-enabled. Even so, it's not as bad as it was when you left, initially.

Is it worth it to come back if I only play 1-2 hours a day (meaning.. will it be impossible to catch back up to my friends who are playing)?

If you come back, I'd recommend that you concentrate your efforts on one or two characters. That will make your time spent back here more efficient. Trying to gear and cap eleven characters has gotten exhausting, for me. There's enough to do so that I don't think you're hopelessly far behind.

Is there enough new content that is really fun to play?

Amrath and the Inspired Quarter are both top-notch, in my opinion.

Is everything I have obsolete (I quit in May 2009)?

The good gear that you had should still be good.

Can I still yell at people even if I'm a noob now?

Those veterans who are still here who were the beneficiaries of your tirades in the Shroud from a year ago miss your having whipped so many into shape.
