Default 32-point build LR becomes 28-point?

Before I LR another toon, I wanted to make sure that a 32-point build did not become a 28-point build with this process. I already did this once, changing a ranger/rogue to a pure ranger. Now, I'm 90% sure that character was a 32-point build but when I started the LR character creation process I was allotted 28 points to start. I could have been wrong and it was a 28-point build - memory is starting to go. LOL Just want to see if anyone else has had issues along this line.

    For what I know...

    32 chars stay 32 chars.
    28 chars stay 28 chars.

To update a 28 char to 32 you need the Greater Reincarnate (the lesser wont update).

Thanks for the replies! I guess I just misremembered that particular toon as being a 32-point build. No surprise there. LOL

GR won't change a drow from 28 points to 30 points (and of course neither will LR). A drow can only be 30 points (or 32 points) if it's the first (or second) TR of a character.

I can confirm this bug, I tried to reincarnate my Lvl 20 Wizard, 32-point build. When I get to the stat selection screen it shows me as a 28-point build.

I sumbited a ticket and they said to fill a bug report. Hopefully this will be fixed. At least I can still log into my character and play until the issue is resolved. From what I can tell it seems to be random, I can't really find a trend to the people saying theres worked fine.

Just wondering : Did you have the 32-pt build because you bought it in the store or because one of your characters has unlocked it ? Or because one of your characters had unlocked it at the time but technically none of them had it at the time you reincarnated ?

    Might make a difference program-wise ?

Is there any updates on this issue? I have been starring at a "reincarnate" button on the character select screen for a while now.

Just wondering if this is being worked or if there are any updates on this.

I was wondering this as well.

Does lesser reincarnating a 32 pt build turn it into a 28 pt build?

Are there any known problems related to LR a 32 pt build?

Can we get an answer to this Turbine?

I didn't see this problem listed in the "known issues" section of the forums. This was the main reason for my wondering.
