Cash and larges for winter festival stuff

OK, so I know in advance that I'm not coordinated enough to farm this skating stuff. Sad but true.

So, if you're the type who doesn't fall on her butt even glimpsing an ice skate, let me know what you have and we can work out a deal for platinum - or even large ingredients - for tokens and recipes. I still want in on the crafting fun! Bonuses to newer players and F2P who want to use this as a way to jumpstart their cash flow.

you don't explicitly have to do the events to get the coins, just kill any fire monsters in quests! I'm farming taming the flames right now...

The rewards from this event aren't as exciting as the festival coins though.

This whole festival thing is confusing me...

Basically, I'll trade larges and premium items for these festival things in amounts usable to do the upgrades, including recipe cards. From what I understand, it's about 30 minutes of farming for enough to do an icy burst? I'll set my rate at a 1-2 larges for that amount, which is a better large payoff for those trying to farm Shroud, especially those who D-Door. My trade list is sorted by large ingredients so that would be the same.

Edit: 1 large for a Recipe 5.

Just a correction but you are wrong about the 30 minutes as I did turn a little over 100 purples and I only got one icy burst.

Yep, you are totally right. It's a lot more time consuming than I realized, but I can also get tokens from running other stuff. I'm more interested in buying the specific recipes for glaciation and ice touch/icy/icy burst, and for those recipes I will pony up larges and rare items. I just want a deal that makes all parties happy.

I can make you as many frosts as you need for cheap... but frost burst is a 1/100 chance on purple tokens which are extremely hard to get at high speeds.

Aha, very interesting. Thanks for the information, I haven't found good threads describing how it works aside from a very nice one with screenshots. Frost is plenty good for my purposes - I'm mostly looking to fix a few weapons on lowbies and characters that don't have the best gear.

Ok I have Cold Touch and Frost effect, no other burst effects yet, we cannot trade the recepies but we can Put them in the AH and I heard we can also Send them by mail, so I'm not sure how this is going to work out.

Hey Rock, #3 is cold touch #4 is frost #5 is icy burst. When ur doing ur trades don't forget they need to give ya 100 motes of winter aswell for each card. Random weapon without an ice effect on it+100 motes of winter+the card= X

Are you looking for the glaciation effect cards too? Lesser-superior 1-9? If so, and they can be mailed?, I'll mail ya what I got, you send back what ever u think it's worth.

OK! Yeah, I am looking for 3, 4, and 5 en masses. At this time, I'm not really seeking out the glaciation effects since I don't have any casters.

The recipes and motes can be mailed and I have lots of plat and larges and items available!
