    Default Leaving Shroud

Just when I thought I had seen it all. In the Shroud run I just finished the rogue decided he didn't want to finish so he threw out a Greater Teleport on all the melee surrounding the pit fiend while still at about 5-10%. When told this was a pretty noobish move, his response was, "'i tped out and tossed others the chance. safer than ddor. if someone took it that didnt want it, its neither my fault nor my concern.'"

Please folks, if you don't want to complete the Shroud run for whatever reason, just use a Dim Door or Teleport yourself.

    wow

Doing that in a group I'm running would be no less than a squelch and guild blacklist. That kind of behaviour can cause a wipe when one or two people click accept by accident.

Just /death when Harry is at 8-10%. D-door is dangerous too (people can and do misclick it).

/death is failsafe and can never impact another player (unless the group fails because of it, but really, that's not likely)
    I don't have a zerging problem.

And yes said player is now advertising his shroud run, we really need a place to give players infractions for doing ******bag things.

That works too. I've never had an issue with someone misclicking D-door since they are usually thrown up in the back of the room and after the fight is over, but if other people have, yeah, then /death works fine too.

The Greater Teleport was just unexpected and if you made a mistake, hey, no big deal really (well, sorta a big deal but at least admit you made a mistake). The response from this player, however, was simply amazing.

D-Door misclicks can happen if a ****tard casts it mid-combat. Plus, there's the issue of D-Doors sometimes taking significant time to use (load screen and all) and thus causing players to be still in the instance when someone hits the altar.

/death, on the other hand, is safe.

Still, what an absolute tard. I'll be back in-game in a couple of weeks, and if anyone does that in any of my Shroud runs, they can expect me to send a /tell to every group leader I see them grouped with warning them that they might want to boot them.

People need to take responsiblity for their mistakes, and correct future actions...or they are not much better than cattle.

That he would not own up to the mistake shows very bovine behavior.

I like when people cast ddoors on the altar. It sometimes catches people who want to hit the altar before everyone is out.

On the flip side, it's a minor annoyance to avoid clicking it (not really comparable to being forced to complete when not ready).

recall works fine now...no reason not to use it.

And you can do it after Harry is dead, completion isn't until someone hits the alter.

Invite him to your next shroud (warn everyone except him to put off looting till harry is dead in part five and no clicking the altar because you're going to...) target and cast a DD on top of every single chest as you end each part.

    What's the big deal?

I mean, no one in there should be randomly interaction-clicking around at the time, so the chance of an Accept seems based solely on the inability to read. Not like it's a poorly placed ddoor or GT on a chest.

You know what? If someone tosses a GT on you while you're fighting Harry and you go ahead and click "accept", I don't feel bad for you. Sure, the guy could have been more courteous... but his bad behavior doesn't excuse your idiocy (not speaking to any particular person here, just generally).

It's not. But nothing really is a *big* deal in game.

The act of doing it was a bit noobish. The absolute lack of remorse whether or not he screwed someone out of their completion and combined with completely removing himself from any blame was a *big* deal.

It's not so much his actions, it's his utter lack of caring and tells me what kind of person he is.
