What The Hell Is WRONG!?

So I made a cleric monk, first lvl cleric, second lvl monk and it says I'm not centered. So I take everything off, still says I'm not centered so I log off, same thing, so I close DDO client STILL not fixed. I turn off my computer, nope still not ceneterd and I'm not wearing anything so can anyone tell me *** is WRONG?

All help is greatly appreciated!


EDIT: my str is 12, and I'm not holding to much, I'm level 2 so I don't need to hold any of the newb ****, so is it a bug or something?

How much weight are you carrying?
Anything other than light encumberance will uncenter you.
So sell some of that crud you're carrying, get more strength, or both. =)

As someone with a cleric monk nope you can use wands and scrolls fine and not go uncentered. I play mine in raids where I use scrolls especially to back up heal and my water stance stays fine. It depends on what the OP is holding in his hand wands/scrolls are fine as of update 1 I believe. Rods, scepters will put you uncentered (Ie rod of teleport puts my cleric/monk off center when she uses it to get to meridia). And as another poster put it your weight allowance if you are anything above light load you will be uncentered.

So check what your carrying for sure and bump up that strength if you can I know when I get encumbered I go off center and lose my water stance knocking my wisdom down its annoying so I try to keep divine power going at your level bulls str clickies or the spell will be your friend for a bit till you get stat items.

Wands and scrolls actually don't make you uncentered. I just logged in and tested it with my FVS/monk.

I imagine the problem probably lies in how much weight you are carrying as SolarDawning said. That said, unless you went with monk splash to get a stance it doesn't really matter if you are uncentered as long as you are unarmored and unencumbered you will still get your Wis bonus to AC.

Np they used to I remembered that it used to bug me but with the relaunch of Update one it was fixed it takes getting used to though just like being fully healed leaving a dungeon and not needing to shrine or nothing.

haha, well as long as I wasn't *completely* wrong. I've only really got 1 monk character, and it's a q-staff rogue, so he's always centered. His UMD isn't high enough to use scrolls or wands yet, so I broke my own rule about posting about things I havn't experienced myself

sounds like one of your stats is too low.

probanly not wis or even dex......... Im betting your str is below 10. Probably a halfling and something between a low stat and too much weight carried is making you uncentered.

Remove everything from your inventory.

Print screen with you character stats and open inventory would also help.

OK, first off.

My True Reincarnate cleric "Atenhotep" is a Cleric with 2 levels of Monk.

a. If you use a non Monk weapon you will be uncentered (therefore I use a greensteel kama in each hand.)

b. If you are encumbered you will be uncentered (as has been stated).

But what concerns me the most is your build.

1. The only reason to make an evasion build is if your DEX will actually be high enough to make Reflex saves. With a 12 DEX you may as well have not added monk to your build. (ie. A failed reflex save is still a failed reflex save)

2. IMO even with 34 points to spend this build is a bit tight .. I will surely Reincarnate my Cleric/Monk again for the 36point build.

3. I think a 32 point cleric/monk would be really pushing it but a 28 point? Forget about it.

You have to upload them to a photo place like photobucket they will give you a link once you upload it and you will be able to post the picture or the link to the picture here.

You cannot load from your computer directly so photobucket or another equivalent websharing site is needed.

Also I noticed you said you play a halfling I noted many of the halfling clerics I know have encumberance problems even with a 12 str that is still your races worst stat and its far easier for a halfling to become encumbered. Also taking off all your items wont work unless you put all those items in the bank or another person it still counts towards your total weight carried even more so if one of the items was your str buffing stat item. But if your totally bare (nothing on you or in your inventory) and not shown as encumbered then yes I would believe it is a bug.
