Just started playing again and have acquired another one of these. This is a feeler, I am not actively seeking to trade it just yet.

Ive never seen one and Ive been playing for 4 years, so I'd say they are rare. +plus

shurikens are pretty lame weapons. -minus

monks dont have much choice in ranged but if they need to vorpal are better off with kamas. +/-plus & minus

evaluation:

I would say its about as rare or rarer than a bloodstone but far less useful. I'd value it at 4 large or 1-2 scales......... cash I'd be willing to pay between 150k -250k plat if I were in the market.

A monk would not use this much as he has far better ways to kill stuff however a drow rogue or bard that is not melee specc'ed might.

If it worked with manyshot on a ranger with improved precise shot it would be a great weapon for a ranger/monk build.

Well if you want to sell one I would give you the following

1 lge scale

1 large chain

1 large shrapnel

There will be many varied opinions on this. About 9 months ago I was offering 3 large devil scales for one. About half the peolple thought this was a very fair offer, and the other half "lol'd" me saying that the offer is not even close. I never did find anyone to accept the trade, though luckily about a week later I found an RR one for 2000,000 plat on the AH. Personally now that I do have one, I find it mildly useful, but unfortunately the slow attack rate of it makes it laking.

I gave the first one away and it just came back to me today. The person I gave it to decided that I needed it more because I was just coming back and needed stuff to work with. I tried it out with a halfling pure rogue assassin (level 20 with bloodstone). With haste and rogue boost, it wasn't half bad for when you can perch or when the monsters are enough away to actually use a ranged weapon.

I may put let it go, but I want to get back into the game a little more before I decide.
