Default Need some help with my dwarven dw dwarven axes build

I want to make a dwarven fighter that dual wields dwarven axes, but I'm used to making characters that can survive not to massive DPS. Any suggestions or tips from the vets out there? (btw I already know weapon focus and critical weapon lines are needed but past that no clue)

look in the Dwarf forums, the ranger, forums, and the fighter forums.

Here's a good thread with some general info.

    Here's a link to a popular multi-class build.

Look around, get some ideas. You should be able to build a good one pretty easily.

    Wes,

You should define a bit better what you want out of the build. But I would sugget going pure ftr, barb, or ranger; depending on what trade-offs you want. You can try multiclassing, but unless you have something very specific in mind as far as goals. Thats very dangerous, you could easily end up with a very gear dependant char that is backed into a niche and extremely sensitive to the whims of dev changes. (Ex. previously mentioned monster build).

    As for the pure builds:
Ftr kensai III dual wielder - good all purpose dps, alacrity, +1 crit range, good hps, decent AC (55-63 dual wielding, upwards of 76 w shield. unbuffed), flexibility (lots of feats), medicore will & ref saves.
Barb TWF - great hps, good to great all purpose dps, +3 to crit multiplier, basically usless AC, medicore will & ref saves, limited flexibilitydue to few feats.
Rngr Tempest III - reasonable all purpose dps, good-great dps against FEs, alacrity, TWF AC boost, decent TWF AC (55-65), some flexibilty (free TWF feats), evasion w/ decent to good ref saves, decent hp, some spell casting (mainly for divine wands and +5 bark, FoM, resists), good ranged combat skills (bow str, many shot).

And some 2-class builds that are resaonably straight forward:
Ftr(18) / rog or monk(2), for evasion, saves, umd, cloth AC bonuses. Loose +1 crit range, alacrity, few hps, +1 hit.
Barb(18) / rog or monk(2), for evasion, saves, umd, cloth AC bonuses. Loose 2 Str, few hps., +1 hit.
Barb(18) / ftr (2), for 2 extra feats. Loose 2 Str, couple hps.
Rngr (18) / monk(2), for saves, AC bonuses. Loose ranged alacrity.

edit: changed crit multiplier for barbs.

Barb with death frenzy gets +3 crit multiplier. Some people miss that, but it's true. A g.axe on a 18 barb with frenzy and death frenzy crits for x6.
