New to DDO. Created a bunch of different classes; Rogue, Bard, Fighter, Sorc, Wiz, and the like, and now pretty settled on on my Pally. Just turned L3 and went to get Enhancements and got confused. If I understand it correctly, and believe the icons that show up, I now have Fear Immunity. When I visited trainer and looked at available Enhancements I noticed one that increased saves vs. Fear. Is that just a leftover from an older DDO version or is Fear Immunity not really an immunity so much as an "on occasion", making getting the +save vs. Fear worthwhile?

Your paladin aura increases your parties saves vs fear. This enhancement increases the + on the saves for the rest of the party, you however remain immune to fear so its effect is useless on you.

I'd just carry pots of Remove Fear, and invest those points elsewhere.

Yes, as stated before, you are immune to fear personally. The paladin is a giver of hope of the battle field, and as such, inspires his allies to battle even against terrifying opponents.
