Letrii - sometimes you just have to be patient.

In answer to your second question - you should have started a different thread unless the gear in strictly AC based.

In answer to your first question, what are you looking for DPS, AC, Monk add, etc.
TOD Ring - in various forms - is very good for high end. Black Widow Bracers and Pathfinders Set (there is another one that adds hit but...) are very good low end. There are LOTs of other options but need something to filter choices.

Don't you need a 20 natural (base + tomes) stat to get grandmaster stances (lvl 18)?

No, you need 18 base + tomes for grandmaster stances.

enough bantering about he said, she said, rep rep rep.

an interesting thread that I;d like more practical advice into, not bickering He's new, forgive and forget.

55 ac at 14 is OK.

Someone had a flow chart of endgame ac and watermarks; I think it was from Mr Crow err I could be wrong.

But 55 is just the benchmark, then start raiding for every little +1 you can get. If your not above 50 after gianthold, its pointless imho.

There are times for AC mode, and DPS mode, so dont think you have to run around with 80+ ac at all times. Heck, at times I usually forget my chattering ring, and just leave powerattack mode on all day and do just fine.

Thanks, had to double check, but you are correct. Did they change this or has it always been 18?

Don't know where I got 20 stuck in my head....

I've only really been playing since f2p went live, but it's been that way since I started.

Well at 14 with haste i run around 52 ac but i stil need icy rainment for +4 and will be ading +2 dodge alot as soon as i get my crafting up a few more points
433 hps 52 ac self buffed and hopeful if i for Once get lucky at icy tommorrow i will be 58 ac with haste or 60? vs giants. when i am in water stance i could just use choas guard or make a +2 dodge bracer which woudl put me ay 54 currently and 58ac with icy if i real wanted to i could drop Gfl on trinket and put +1 dodge in for 59 ac at level 14 but that would be a toss up. Also if i had upped my int to take Combat expertise i could potentially have a ac of 64 Self buffed at level 14 of 67 with chat ring and my spare +6 dex boots. though that would be kinda silly to drop str that much to raise int )

You learn a lot on your 1st life as a monk. Its a 'different' sort of class.

I went from 32 AC at level 20 on my 1st life to probably close to double that at 15 on my second. Now sitting at 72 at 20.

Have fun with your 1st life, and take what you've learned and make yourself better on your second. Its really worth it!

Inability to post images aside, I wouldn't call a boost and a shield clickie "maintainable".
