Or does anyone have some good Caster/Melee Warforged and Human Builds in der pocket?
A Mix of Off Casting/Melee(THF)
Offensive casting -- pure20, you need all the caster levels you can get.
Healbot -- pure20, you need all the spell points you can get.
Battle FvS -- pure20 or monk splash, although the monk synergies are greater with a TWF build.
Evasion, some possible AC, and 2 useful bonus feats versus DR 10, some sort of groovy 20th level ability, and two caster levels. Not alot of numbers to crunch, it's pretty apples and oranges.
As mentioned, the synergies are better for elves/drow because of higher dex for two weapon fighting(=better saves for evasion and more naked AC), and no wisdom penalty.
Yes, that's about right. There's no "right answer" to your question, only a judgment call on your part about what you want your character to be.
What we can do is take the very limited information you've offered about your goals and provide some general direction. If you really are looking to be an OC/melee hybrid, then you generally wouldn't want to multiclass because doing so significantly hinders the OC part of the build while only mildly enhancing the melee part (because you'll be doing most of your melee damage with blade barrier anyway). If you're leaning more toward melee than you've let on so far, and are willing to sacrifice a fair amount of casting might for greater defensive staying power and a few feats, then multiclassing becomes a defensible though still not a clearly "better" choice for you.
If you aren't sure what you want to be, or aren't sure how to weigh the various options available to a favored soul character, then your best bet is staying pure. Only if you know you want to be melee-focused should you consider splashing a favored soul, and even then the benefits of staying pure -- significant damage reduction at level 20 and a capstone that lets you spam searing light or CLW at will -- are large enough to make a monk splash far from the no-brainer it might initially appear to be.
