Default where to find Luminecent dust and Fragrant Drowshood Mushrooms?

and certain other collectibles like pure water, Lightning-split soarwoods and silver flame Hymnals

yes this is all for the Alchemical crafting on weapons and armor. I have no problem finding prayer beads and Funerary tokens, but can't seem to find the rest.

Where are the best place to farm these ingredients?

For prayer beads, any where there are kobolds (I got most of mine in "Durk's secret").

Where is the best place to find the rest of these? I would rather not spend the money in the Auction house as the prices are a bit high for my taste.

Tangleroot around Part 3... You get a lot of Hymnals, and Drowshood.

I've yet to find a reliable spot for Dust, although Cult of Six seems to have a lot.

Dust - IIRC, That level 11 quest which has the same entrance as Mirra's. The rooms with the Mind Sunders have like 4 or 5 collectible stations, most give various dust.

Pure Water - Recovering the lost Tome (Harbor Lighthouse) - Quick quest. There are two collectibles at the end where the 3 zombees are lying on the table. They usually give amber viles or pure water.

Dust is easy, it's a common collectible. Lumi's the hardest of them to find tho Enemy Within has like 30 collectible spots that could be it, but it's also in a ton of other 6-13 quests.

Lightning split is much the same. I usually find one every couple times i run wizard king, mostly genie rooms

New bestest place I've found for Waters is Haverdasher. That cabinet in with the scorps seems packed with em.

House D Depths series used to be good for Drowshoods, but a lot of the shrooms seem to be pinkies now instead of purplies.

    For Tangleroot drowshood mushrooms:

After much experimentation the best quest ive found for these is part 6 of tangleroot. After completing it you can run it again and again and again....(just dont talk to Ungurz to update your quest line). Ive been running this and have found multiple sets of the 9 I need for the force ritual. Just take someone who can,
    a) run fast, or
    b) kill everything

I take my monk cause nothing hits her, she has evasion and she runs fast

    Collectible Locations:

    1. By the first set of spiders I take a right to the oozes at the end of the path. In parts 1-4 there is only 1 mushroom collectible here, but from part 5 onwards there are 2.

    2. I follow the path around to where the bugbears spawn, veer around to the right, there is a spider and an adventurers pack on the gound, it can spawn in this pack too. (Lightning-split soarwood also drops here)

    3. I generally run past everything for a while til i get to the big square room, there is a cabinet on the left side of the room where the Lightning-split soarwood can drop.

    4. I run past the glass spiders that spawn in the hallway leading out of this room. Instead of taking a right to the end of the quest, I go left. There is a side hall with spiders and a mushroom.

    5. I backtrack to the main hallway and keep running anticlockwise...the whisperdoom hallway has 1 mushroom.

    6. I then head towards the shrine, in the first part of that hallway there is 1 to the left before the shrine.

    7. I then go through the two traps (dragging my mobs behind me ) and there is 1 more mushroom by the chest at the top. I then jump off the edge, run to the end of the quest and go into the second part. I finish out from there without completing.

Now, I'm not saying that the fragrant drowshood will drop everytime at every location, but on average you should get 1 or 2 per run.
/and again, apoligies for not giving credit to whoever I stole this advice from - I cant find the original post with the attrib.

For dusts ive got to go with Tangleroot as well and the catacombs quest you have to look in every room to find the different bookshelves and cabinets but its worth it if your hunting dusts most cabinets give sparkling glittering or luminescent dusts.

For Drowshrood Id just try the various purple mushrooms for sure and I pulled a lot of out chain of flames the little mushrooms tucked away on the sides and even one from the rubble. Its very randomized but the drowshrood are a mushroom type collectible so you have better chances of pulling them from the mushroom type items.

They must have nerfed this recently because I have ran this same loop (there is a video on this loop on youtube) and so far (4 runs) I have not found a single one.

Necro 1, Tomb of the Immortal Heart is a virtual dust factory. I xp farm this, and easily walk away with a minimum of 10 sparkling and 1-3 lumi.

On my bardbarian's previous life, she solo'd Threnal, and I think I walked away with 3 Silver Flame Hymnals and 2 Lightning Split Soarwoods out of there.

The Co6 chain, part 3-6 have a ton of collectible spots, I think even part 1-2 as well but you have to do the secret doors.

Tomb of the Shadow Guard has a ton of mushrooms, once you learn the swim it's not to hard.

Offering of Blood's mushrooms are also all the 'good' Fragrant Drowshood chance type.

It's even better to farm if you can open the locked doors, which have some of the mushrooms behind them, but with great xp and 2 shots at spectral gloves per run anyway, if you can handle solo-ing it, it's totally worthwhile.

In Von 3 the breakables in the Troll Ambassador optional room are slow to get to and unnecessary for ransack.

Ah.. smell that 2 year old necro. Fungus has a different odor.

And I doubt they changed it, because what you pull has always been luck of the draw.

Run the first three rooms of party crashers in Phiarlan. There are 4 mushrooms that can drop drowshoods. Have a friend join and break group with you after you recall. Repeat for an hour or so. Have your friend run it too and it will only take 30 minutes or so to get 9 drowshoods.

They could have lowered the drop chances because out of 10 runs I managed 2. This is not what the older threads said I should have received that I googled. More like 4-6 per 10 runs or 10 if really lucky.

If only that pack was worth the tp to blow it up...sadly, it is not for me since I tried the quests once. Just not a fun pack but the info is still nice to know.
