Hi Varr,

I have a Level 7 THF Paladin going to Gianthold soon. I have Xuum as a primary weapon, but also a +3 Greatsword of Greater Giant Bane. In your experience, does Giant Slayer on the Ancient Vulkoorim Dagger proc often enough to be useful given the lower base damage? If so, I'll take both of yours at 30k each. Let me know if you want plat or if you'd prefer I buy you something pretty from the AH/trade boards.

Ty for the bump! Quite honestly I've never used them. The proc rate probably stinks, but I dont know. I've a level 6 rogue dagger only user that would have acquired and played with them a bit on Orion, but never got back to leveling him.

If you want to roll the dice, I'll sell em both to u for the 30 k total if you will promise to play around with them and post me a answer to your own question.


Keen low level rapiers are da bombdigity with iceburst. As to ss, deal....mail Varr plat and I'll mail ya the ss or meet me in game to trade. Don't remember what I asked for it.

Deal! I'll sample 100 giants with my THF Pally dual-wielding (2) Vulkoorim daggers. I'll post the resulting proc rate here.

It might take me awhile to level to GH though.
