Due to the overwhelming success of Dungeons & Dragons Online®: Eberron Unlimited™ and the massive growth in our player population, we’re proud to announce that a new high-capacity server world is opening on November 4, 2009! The new server is named Orien, after the famous Dragonmarked noble house in Eberron. House Orien is an integral part of Xen'drik's trade and transportation systems due to their renowned magical travel and teleportation abilities. The launch of the Orien server comes on the heels of the hugely successful launch of DDO Unlimited and just after our first major game update, underscoring our ongoing commitment to the franchise and the amazing popularity of DDO Unlimited. We’ll see you in-game!
NOTE: Orien will be open to new characters only. Character transfers will not be available for the new world at this time.
“Orien” In Eberron lore:
The Mark of Passage is displayed on humans of House Orien. The mark appeared almost two thousand years ago, and it quickly allowed House Orien to dominate in the areas of transportation and teleportation. Orien’s Courier’s guild quickly and discreetly delivers packages through its vast transportation network. Orien’s Transportation guild operates an immense number of caravans, both in Xen’drik and elsewhere. In Stormreach, the Orien Courier’s guild provides the Mail system. House Orien also works closely with the House Kundarak to help with the city’s Auction House. To learn more about Dragonmarked Houses, the world of Eberron, and more Xen’drik mythology, visit DDO.com!
