Default Looking for lvl 17-20s to favor tank me. . .

I need around 100 favor, and have most of merenchtrun to do, as well as all of vale of twilight, gianthold (except POP, and 2 others), reaver's reach left to run. . . All together it's way more than the favor I need, but I am just trying to get the favor so I can reroll.

    I'm currently a level 14 (nearly 15)

I play nearly every night from about 8:30 PM Central Standard Time - 2:00 AM Central Standard Time (server name chonas).

At level 14, you should not have any trouble creating elite Vale groups lvl 14-17. Quite many people hit it about level 12 or so.

Or, more importantly, why one would not wish to run desert stuff with other level 12-15 for favor and great XP.

Asking for favor grind is one thing but killing your XP in the process is kinda...
Why reroll with the changes coming unless your alt is messed up?

Very much correct... level 14 though should be fine in Vale with other level 14-17, and in desert with 14-15, and would pull plenty xp and favor. Currently be a 12fighter/2barb CG dwarf twf dualing axes... With the changes comming I would keep level and just update it to 32 points... save the favor, the xp and any loot on it.

Could be that I do not understand the new reincarnation process.
I thought that by reincarnating a 28 point build they would become a 32 point?
    Maybe I am mistaken though.

Beit always been a misquote I thought? -> and "so on™" and "so on™", or possibly a case of dyslexia "Noos™"?

    before Thanksgiving?

I'd think they'd like to have it released in time for the Festivult Jester's arrival.

Can't believe it's that time of year already.

Changing a 28 - 32. Messed up and took barbarian level in the beginning for run speed. Now I know what my optimal build is, so I'm rolling a 32 accordingly. Keeping the same name, just respeccing and gaining 2 build points ( and enough money to tome at lvl 1 hopefully.)

True reincarnates take 28-34 (or so it seems from some responses I've gotten), but I also do not enjoy the desert content very much right now because it's such a pain to get everywhere out there. ( had a 2 and a half hour experience in Chain teh Flames starting at 1 AM. . .yeah thats enough said).

No, it is not enough said, you have only just begun young Padawan.
I would like to hear more about your desert experiences.

Wellllll, there were 1 barbarian, a bard, a monk, myself (fighter), and a sorcerer. This group averaged level 15 and had successfully completed offering of blood on elite and raid the vulorium on hard and elite, and some other short quest on hard. We were feeling confident because all of these quests combined had taken roughly 2 hours and we had no cleric. Then we motion "how about we do maraud the mines or chain the flames?" Everyone says "sure that's a flagging quest I need," so we set out. However before doing so, I try to find a healer and rogue for our party. There were, over the course of the night only 3 rogues not in parties (none of which wanted to party). So we get a healer I have quested with before, then our caster leaves so I get a friend of mine. We then begin the search for the quest which took 15 minutes itself to find out how to get up onto the cliff where the quest was. After finding it, and fighting our way to it, we are all in worse shape than you want to start a quest on. However, we decide to make our attempt at glory. Note, at this point we have no rogues in chain the flames. We enter and I say "do we need fire protect," and they say no so we cross the bridge and take tons of fire damage from the arrows raining down on our heads (something that continues until the top level). We trudge our way through the quest to the first shrine with very little difficulty, then it hits the fan. After this shrine is a room FULL of spinning blade traps. With no rogue, we have our first party wipe (nearly). The remaining 3 people are at 1/2 or lower hp. The cleric is dead. We say "look there's another shrine on the map, we'll just make it to there. . . wrong. There are 5 keys that must be obtained to get to the final fight, 4 of which must be had to get to shrine #2, which is behind another 2 hallways of traps. Needless to say, we do not make it. After the party wipe, the bard stays in the instance while the rest of us recall to the tavern. We thought the way to the quest would still be clear, and leave the tavern to trek through the desert when we finish healing (in order to get back to the quest faster). However, the desert has reset and by the time the first person makes it to the cliff to the door, we have a red warning level. 1/2 Party Wipe. Everyone who was IN the desert dies, they go back to the tavern and we all regroup to go through the desert. While fighting our way back to the quest the cleric apologizes then drops. Shortly after my friend the wizard drops (to be fair it is around 3:00 am at this point). So I find another caster, and the 5th slot stays empty until I find a rogue (30 mins later). We make our way back to the quest and we're again at about half our hp upon entering. Then we die by the trap and I resolve to find the rogue, which I do. We wait for 10 minutes (bard's been dead the entire time), then fight our way back A 3RD TIME, and the rogue doesn't find the trap box. He gets the other, easily avoidable, traps, but the first and most important one cannot be disarmed. One of the barbarians leaves, we do not replace. We make it through the quest to the second shrine, get fixed up (by the way the monk at this point has eaten 3 cakes) then make our way to the final room. The monk throws a temporary rest shrine behind us, then the sorc says "we'll set a DD inside so we can get out if it gets too hot." We hit the temporary rest shrine, then go inside with full buffs. Destroy the bosses with our pent up rage, and the monk lets loose with a string of curses because he thought the DD was to be set outside and he ran into it sending him flying back to the beginning of the instance without his loot. Total time spent in quest 146 minutes, monsters killed 220 (i had 98), deaths 32 (coming from 8 different people), EXP gained 3.5k, 9 reentries (5 people). Net monetary gain from quest -35k gold.

That's about as well as I can recount it, but I can say that the monk and bard were some of the greatest team players I have ever seen, as well as most determined.

I ran the quest again last night to do some flagging for a very successful group. We had a level 19 sorcerer zerging us through so we should have finished in 15-30 minutes, but the person who got the final key managed to fall into the lava at the bottom, and had to be saved by dimension door (we were all at the top aside from him) and this added 30 more minutes to the quest.

Bad experiences . . . never again. I've learned from this quest that any quest with something that could be used for bondage in its title is going to put you over its knee and spank you. Apparently the DM for this one was into S&M.

On a higher note, I need 33 more favor to get my 32 point build and reroll, sooooo I'm doing Vale quests tonight if anyone wants to force me through them.
