seriously ive tried almost every fix posted and still no go im trying one last reinstall and attempting it from scratch but if it doesnt work this time i dunno what to tell ya :{

i WANT to play hell i might even resub but the game seems to not want to work with ati or nforce or VISTA

all of which i have :{

i mean its not just me ive scoured the forums and alot of people have had similar issues and the posted fix's didnt work.

if this doesnt work then ill just cry myself to sleep

yup same stuff man couldnt intialize crypto api

i cant be bothered to get tech assistance as i dont have time to wait and suss it out and since the fix's dont work i dunno what to say :{

maybe if u can find a fix for me

Have you tried disabling Vista's fire wall...I was havin the same problem...also can you list what you have tried.

Altarboy runs vista and had a LOT of problems. If anyone can help you, he can.

I am IN dulg in fact i was the first member....well....cept for gornn

also uhhh firewall i havent tried and im not too computer savvy but ive tried to work through all the fix's

i dont even know how to access my firewall to change anything :{

im dumb

i HAVE tried however.... user account control fix's sometimes apparently if its on turn it off if its off tuen it on and make sure certain ones are checked run as admin (client i believe) and others are not (invoker , launcher etc)

i also messed around with some of the nforce fix's where i had to dl newest drivers and **** which i apparently already had

i also tried the .netframework fix's

hopefully it is my fire wall and someone can walk me through it. in the meantyime ima hit google

k i found the firewall and looked and all turbine and dnd stuff is already ticked for "allow" or exception or whatever...

if anyone wants to walk me through this pm me and ill give u my aim

sorry if u have msn as i cant seem to get that to work on my comp either... i cOULD use my laptop to talk on it though if i have to

would appreciate any help but remember you would have to walk me through it SLOWLY

Now that you mentioned a laptop, is there by chance your running your internet connection through a router? If so you might have some ports closed from the router that you need to manually open up. Might be a possible fix. Not quite sure if your problem is your network card or possibly a router side problem. Here are a few links about it here from Tech support if they are any use to you.
