Easy solution would be to create a new server or two for long tine subscribers only. Then allow char transfer to that server. Win for players as no grouping with new players that done have a clue or care about the game enough to sub to it. Second benifit is for turbine as players transfer char to new server, they don't do that for free you know.

When the server is full the queue kicks into affect.

If you are getting "Sever is full" message it's a known error they are trying to track down please go to this thread and post your issue. Who knows if it will help but at least all the complaints will be in one area.

Hmm, generally the devs are developing code not dealing with weekend server issues. The work week for them is usually mon-fri except during crunch times.

What you are looking for is someone in operations, generally a network/system administrator. Again unless there are actual physical server problems they are not going to be able to do much anyways, especially if the servers are actually full.

With the quantity of people that have signed up for DDO:EU I would expect that they are already planning on adding another server or additional capacity on their current servers. I understand that this can frustrate people now but think of it in a different perspective: DDO finally has too many players!! This can only mean good things for new content in the future.

So imagine how you would feel if you were the free player, just about to loot the last chests in part 5 of the shroud (or any raid) and you got booted from the game?
