    Default Anger's Wrath Set Bonus

Is it just me, or is this set bonus just amazingly good? +2 to hit that (appears to be) an untyped bonus that stacks with +compentence bonus.

I've gotten good necklace and boot drops, but even though I no longer need the +1 str, +1 saves on the necklace nor the Expeditious Retreat (really you should just swap this in for a clickie) and the +3 jump, I can't get rid of either piece because the +2 untyped hit is just so good.

What level/what gear would be the next "upgrade" over Anger's Wrath?

Those sets are just that good. You'll probably be wearing it until around lvl 10 or so, maybe longer.

Depends on the build, but if you have to take it off youll be looking to compensate for it with a +4 to dex or str item, or something else you find equally important. Some builds will ditch the sets for 20%-30% striders and +4 wis or whatever because the attack bonus will be solid by that time. Lots of gear out there for middle levels. Cant say the same about groups atm unfortunately :/

Yeah, mine usually come off around level 9 when I need to start fitting in +4 stat gear and preparing for a Minos Legens at level 11.

Assuming you can trade the extra attack for +dmg from PA enhancements, that set bonus is better than anything else available for dps(if you can't trade attack for damage or have sufficient attack already to cover the trade, Madstone boots are better) in most situations. Certain exceptions(boots of anchoring allow you to melee Horoth, especially when twinned with a jorgundal's collar) do exist and the new set bonuses may be better if certain things stack.

Its an awesome set -a must for any melee. But I think frankly its too good for starter levels. Plus there is the insight goggles +1 in the same area, thats another +1 to hit.

I used to wear em till level 16 before cap was raised. But now with 20 I don't know actually, maybe longer, but sure as hell not shorter.

Many of the Korthos Isle twinkage items are useful and worn at mid to highish levels. Things like the Archivist Necklace are still used at cap (not worn continously, just swapped in and clicked in a slow moment, then swapped out.)

They are darn good, and actually make it kinda sad in some ways when new players with low level characters are complaining abut how hard they find it is to hit monsters? Really, it is almost hard to miss monsters at those levels with the bonuses and items you can get.

Just tell them to stand still. They are likely coming from other games where there's no penalty for attacking while moving. That and the random loot generator are probably the two biggest adjustments new players need to make.
Just remember. Good build, bad build, it's all the same when you roll a 1.
